Privacy policy
Last updated 1 September 2026. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Who we are
TAPPYRA supplies NFC products and operates the activation platform at this website. For data protection purposes we are the data controller. Contact us at support@tappyra.com for any privacy request.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, your name if you provide it, and an encrypted password or the identifier from the sign-in provider you chose.
- Product data: the codes you have activated, the nickname you give each product, and the destination address you set.
- Tap data: the date and time of each tap and a coarse source label. We do not record who tapped, their location, their device identifier or their IP address against your product.
Why we collect it
To create and secure your account, to prove that a code belongs to you, to forward taps to the destination you chose, and to show you a tap count. We rely on performance of our contract with you for account and product data, and on our legitimate interest in a working, secure service for anonymous tap counts.
Who we share it with
Our hosting and database provider processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account and product data are kept while your account is open. Tap records are kept for 24 months. Deleting your account removes your personal data and releases nothing about you to third parties.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email us and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your records is enforced at the database level, so one account can never read another account's products or tap history.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
